I've begun this year doubting about a possible job change. Ironically enough, the exact same position was offered again a couple last month. And even though I'm a lot more relaxed about taking or declining the offer, I'm still in a bit of a loop-hole here since I tend to both want en not want the job.
It's been over a month already, so it's time for an update. Time for some more in-depth views at my financial state. But first something pretty interesting: As I mentioned in my previous update my job-hunting phase kind of stalled when I just decided to "stick with where I am since my pay-grade is going up anyway" and instead try and find meaning in life outside of work, but I have a confession to make here.
Apparently, I need challenges to get moving and stay on track. The last few years of non-blogging makes this even more clear. The main reason I started writing up my mind on paper mostly had to do with trying to get out of debt and my personal journey intertwined with that.
I did an attempt to comeback last year, just before my most recent job change back then, and then I got into a work-hate-how-to-fire-how-to-make-more-how-to-get-out-of-this-grind kind of mode. It was a bit disturbing. I went on job interviews and got several offers and took none. I guess it's a lot like what happened back in '17 when I went on buying Apple stuff, lol.
